| Exactly. Although from the melancholy feel of this song I'd say that there is something hindering them from just up and running off. They love each other; she's stepping on his toes because she can't get close enough and he's ecstatic. But the RIGHT way out is typically the HARD way out so him saying 'let's take the EASY way out' might be him being hopelessly ideal; maybe even just for the sake of showing affection. Either way; hard, right, wrong, easy, they'll never separate completely...because they can't :) | |
