There have been many times where I've felt this way, it's pretty obvious what it is about, it's about being led-on by someone who you completely adore, yet knowing you have to say goodbye to this person. It's a tough situation. My favorite verses out of this entire song is "I rise above, or sink below, with everytime you come and go, please don't, come and go." In my opinion what that verse means is she keeps coming back to him and he keeps getting his hopes up but then she lets him down again and he's begging her to quit. |

I first heard this song on Degrassi. I think this song is about someone who's in a relationship, yet they feel like it's falling apart, and no matter how many times he tries to come up with new ways of trying to heal, he can't, the girl doesn't believe him when he said he's tried and keeps bickering at him. |

This song is great, I think it's talking about how he wants to be with this girl but she's been hurt too many times to try and date again, she's scared, but she doesn't want to admit it, and he's trying to tell her that he'll be here for her, but she doesn't believe him, hence "If you could only see in the mirror what I see." They're both vulnerable, but the guy is ready to be with her, and she's holding back due to being hurt, hence the lines "Slow down girl, you're not going anywhere, just wait around and see, maybe I'm much more, you never know what lies ahead, I promise I can be anyone, I can be anything, just because you were hurt doesn't mean you shouldn't bleed." |

I can't believe anyone hasn't commented on this song o: This is such a brillant song, I love all the different instrumentals, it's kind of like an acoustic pop song, good rhythms. Simply put, Secondhand Serenade is amazing (: I think this song is talking about how he is in a long distance relationship hence the "Miles and miles apart", he talks about how he feels uninspired without this girl he's talking about, he wants to meet her, because he knows his life has room for two in it. |

I can see how this song is about the death of a loved one, but to me, it's more of regretting not telling the person you love how you feel, than they find someone and all you're left with is the memories you had with the person before they went off with someone else. It also reminds me that it's something I need to do, I need to tell this person how I feel, face to face, not through letters, not through digital, but they're already with someone, I still need to tell them how I truly feel, I'm nervous, but I have to face it someday. "I'm so afraid to love you, more afraid to lose." That's exactly how I feel, if I tell them how much I love them, will they run away? |

Secondhand Serenade is probably one of the best Acoustic bands there is, I love a lot of their songs, this one and 'Your Call' are particulary ones I can never stop listening to. To me this song is about being in love with someone who just doesn't see you, like you see them, they're trying to pry them open and trying to get them to believe them when they tell them this, but they still don't see it. |

To me this song is about someone waiting for the person they love, to love them back, though I could see how it is about God too, but to me, this is more about love. Anyways, this describes the current issue I'm in right now, the person I love is in a relationship right now, we still talk, I've tried to see if they like me back, but I don't have an answer-yet, though I get the feeling she sort of likes me, but just isn't open to show it. The more I stay here, the more in love with her I am, and when I'm away from her, she's constantly on my mind, I can't live, with, or without her. I hope I get an answer soon, but I'll wait as long as I have to, until I can't wait any longer. |
