Every Time I Die – Wanderlust Lyrics 14 years ago
Seems to me, as above, to be about infidelity, as anybody that's tried desperately hard "to make an honest mistake" will agree. Specifically though, I feel there's an air of self-loathing here, the protagonist is disgusted by his own behaviour and consumed by guilt, but unable to resist his compulsions. "...guilt and disgrace keep the dead man awake..." Seems fairly self-explanatory, as with the crescendo "when they unearth these passages, will I appear to be proud, not if you're listening close enough......"

Clutch – Worm Drink Lyrics 14 years ago
University Boulevard. New Hampshire Avenue. Tick Tock Liquor. Thunderbird.

And now that we have totally lost all composure, We will wither from exposure beneath the sun.

Tick Tock Liquors is a liquor store on University Boulevard (thank you Google) and Thunderbird is a strong, cheap wine favoured by winos, which could certainly cause one to "lose all composure". I've only visited the states a couple of times, and never Maryland, but I've noticed that in contrast to the pasty-faced heroin addicts sleeping rough in Britain, America's homeless seem to be mostly drinkers, and all seem to be badly sunburned and leathery skinned, or "withered from exposure beneath the sun". Perhaps this song has more of a socio-political theme than immediately apparent?
