I know this comment is a bit late... I think this lyric refers back to the song Wake Up in which "With my lighnin’ bolts a glowin’ / I can see where I am goin’ to be" is sung. The lightning bolts here are acting as a guide, but they are contradictory as they melt the street she's on, the same one she cannot properly follow, and glue her in place. So she is "stuck forever" and can never go to the place she needs to be. |
