Well, they said that they're not a christian band and that the main songs with christian meaning are Tourniquet and Whisper. Amy said it was a Ben thing and that he was into those christian songs. This song, I think, is about how Jesus faced the crowd of people. But I've got to admit, to me, this song is about something you can't even face, it hurts that much. It's my favorite song, but not for its general meaning, but for the power it gives you to stay on your feet, no matter how bullied or how hated or abused you are. Don't turn away, Don't try to hide, Don't close your eyes, Don't turn off the light. |
