I feel like certain parts are in response to Taylor Swift. When he says "I'm not some trouble maker and I never meant her harm, but it doesn't mean I didn't make it hard to carry on." That, says to me, he's in a way trying to defend himself and say he's not all that bad of a guy. Even if I interpretted this completely wrong, as georgi10 said, it's a great song. I love John Mayer! |
