| Brantley Gilbert – You Don't Know Her Like I Do Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| This is about a man who went through a break-up and his friends are trying to console and comfort him. Basically, the friends are comforting him by telling him that he can do better, she wasn't good enough, she was a bad person etc. but the man says his friends don't "know her like [he] do[es]" and that she was truly his best friend. He is devastated that he lost his best friend, his love. It's as if someone died, and he is suffering in the memories they had. He asks his friends not to say everything will all right, she wasn't worthy of him, or even try to help him because she's the only one who can make him feel better. It's a very sad song about losing a love who wasn't just a love, but a best friend. | |
