this song touched me deeply. currently i live in a group home/ residential treatment facility for those who have been emotionally crippled. my mom committed suicide when i was eleven, and my dad molested me. and im 16 right now and my adoptive mom just died. to me this song is telling me not to change, not to give in to the rising temptation to grow cold and weary of the world. |

i'm in one of those stereotypes actually. i'm one of those gothy punk 'nonconformists'. but i'm genuine. i don't think about what i'm doing, i just do it. when i get up in the morning and get dressed i don't think 'hmm.. will this go along with what i want people to stereotype me as?' -more than likely i'm thinking- 'will this chain get caught on stuff or should i shorten it?' really i don't even know what i am and i don't care. its different every day. my friends call me the shiny porcupine. my friends are also so called 'geeks' so obviously im not trying to fit in with the 'scene'. i love my geeks.some of these other comments are really pissing me off. were not all posers. i just do what i think is awesome. im a loud upbeat party person who dresses weird. thats all there is to it. |
