This is like my life's theme song. God once put it on my spirit that I would operate as His love. Never understood that, my life was riddled with pain, disappointment, rejection, betrayal, abandonment, you name it. And yet, God has always showed me His unconditional love for me in every negative. Now I get it. And Josh apparently gets it too! What a talented man! |

I think it points to the lost tribes of Israel, scattered to the four corners of the earth - being called back. Perhaps this makes me a "lost tribes/ two house" advocate...I see plausibility exists, even if scant. And I know not real popular in mainstream Jewish/Christian populus. That's why it often feels like I'm drifting on an ocean with "home" in view but its so far, and not even sure if they'll grant me safe passage to that treasured land, but I drift toward it nonetheless. Yep, people like me with no visible jewish ancestry within the last 4 generations that somehow are being drawn in; things we were raised/trained to believe were done away with/passe are now vital to daily life. Its all new frontier and yet as I adapt more and more its like coming back to something that was in me all the time...a recovery from some generational/spiritual "amnesia", just all so strange, and yet so all consuming and unescapable! These lyrics speak so beautifully to this journey God has me on, and I know quite a few others in recent days. |
