| I agree with you because it appears to be the obvious and literal interpretation, hahaha. maybe Thom Yorke didn''t want to risk getting AIDS or HIV and has to release his sexual tension with a blow up doll cause hookers have herpes...lol | |

I agree with matchboxmatt . I like this member's comment. This song hits me personally. I am trying to 'move on' in failed relationship with a boyfriend that has a drug addiction. I particularly like your comment ' It is the ultimate irony and truth: we dwell on things and "have our fill" in order to move on, and although we are the same person we were when we endured these events, we have evolved through our experiences and reflections.'. I could really identify with what you said. My ex bf may have chose drugs over me but I am left with my feelings for him and the hopes I had for a happier future with him. I am trying to let go but I think it may have been a mistake to add him to my facebook. Every time I read an update that he is moving on, it is like having my heart pulled out of me. I grieve, play some Radiohead and can;t sleep..lol. In the end, I am only torturing myself but listening to Radiohead makes the time go by easier, Thanks matchboxmatt for your insight. |
