the reason they became successful without highschool is because they would spend their time learning thier craft. for example, in dimes bio "black tooth grin" it said that he barely went to school and would just stay at home and play guitar. this comment just makes you sound like an angry teen who doesnt like school. If you really think the educational system is useless.. you probably shouldve paid more attention in school. In that case maybe its useless to you because your determined to be mad at it. and im 15, i love so many different types of metal, i play guitar, smoke alot of weed and have to get up at 550 for school everyday. and not by choice my bus comes at 620. so dont give me the "you dont understand" thing. |

i just have to say how much i love the solo in this song.. I know its coming everytime yet i always get goosebumps. Such an underated song and an extremely underated solo.. i try to not think of dime when i listen to it though because id start to cry. |

i cant remember where i heard this but phil said something about beating a guys ass at a concert who was causing trouble.. so naturally many of the fans beat the shit out of him. He told them he wasnt going to sue after a chains of events... but when they started to get more popular the guy decided that hed be able to make some decent mony if he sued them.. so he did.. Idk if this is 100% correct but im taking it from what i know i heard phil say in an interview |

I love how layne and jerrys lyrics are vague sometimes.. especially the darker songs. i think they did this to not tell too much about what exactly he is depressed or upset about and so that people who listen to it who are also depressed or upset can use it to help them, because he knows/knew what it ws like to feel that way and wanted to help people because he wasnt. all i can say is thank you layne and jerry. thank you so much. |

music these days like all mainstream rap requires no interpretation. People cant take songs and use them for themselves because the meaning they have is clearly stated.. i feel like this could be in a way stifling creativity of youth. and in turn can make them posers. granted im only 15 so dont pull a youtube commenter and flip shit at me if you dont agree. I love aic and theyve helped me get through some bad shit. so if you dont agree with what i said atleast agree that aic is great. |
