| Honestly, I can't remember what I put up here originally, so I apologize if it was something silly, it's been awhile. However, they are not on the album sleeve. My Dad bought the album (so I have purchased it, in a way, Ed is way too good not to buy!), and for the other lyrics on this album, I've had him do the lyrics by ear so I could post them. | |

It's about Frank Sinatra's butler, when Sinatra died, the butler feels like he isn't his own person because "home was always someone else". He didn't have his own life, he just lived for somebody else. It's aimed at people who live like this, whether it be a butler situation, or simply a person who lives for someone else (boyfriend/girlfriend). Quite moving. |

Actually, simply because it's Ben, makes me believe it is just about him hitting his head. And nothing more metaphorical. He has plenty of songs that are simply just plain silly. That's who he is. Else, would you care to tell me the metaphoric meaning of "Break Up @ Food Court"? 'Cause that song makes sense up until the 2nd verse... I don't find it impossible that certain things may lead the mind to think deeper into the song. But sometimes it's merely coincidence. |
