It's not about Bethany, he wrote this in late 2008- early 2009; they weren't dating at the time. All of you who thought it was about weed... congrats! You're half correct, it's about him getting high with the girl he's in love with (who just so happens to have... yes, you guessed it GREEN FUCKING EYES). The chorus is about weed and the first verse is about the girl (that lucky bitch, I love Nathan Williams sooo much.)He talks about it in a really early interview. - <3 The Indie Kid |

Not only is this my favorite song, but Smith Westerns is my favorite band and I can't help but notice the lyrics here are wrong twice! It doesn't say "baby you're right on time" it says "hey baby you're outta sight". Also after verse one it's "get loose, get red, get wrong, get right" and after varse two it's "get loose, get wet, get wrong, get right". But thanks for trying! - <3 The Indie Kid |
