Oh what a horrible situation to be in! The guy is totally in love but is too scared to tell her. People think she's too good for him but he knows how she really feels. He is kicking himself because he should have just told her. They were probably really close and their feelings for eachother made them draw apart. A situation that is all to familiar. Why don't we say how we truly feel? :/ |

I know how this feels. It's a really horrible position to be in. It's about an ex coming back into the picture after they have finally realised you're happy without them. They've realised what they have given up. The ex thinks they can just walk back in, she thinks that he is trying to make her jealous, but actually he just wants to get on with his new relationship. Although he has somebody else, part of him still breaks when he sees her wanting him back. she still knows how to mess with his mind, but isn't letting it get to him because he is done with all the heartbreak and pain she brought him. |

To me, this is the best song on the album. It's about a relationship that has been strained by the girl cheating. They constantly argue and the only thing he doesn't want to hear in the argument is how he is better for her, he would prefer to be lied to. Song is pretty self explanatory, and very truthful. Sometimes the truth doesn't want to be heard and a lie is only way to spare feelings :/ |
