[not about the meaning, but about my life changing experience when listening to it. Also written as an English essay (I'm not a native English speaker, this was written for my English course)] (by Regiane K.S.) I was in a skype conf with some friends, one of them sends me part 1 and 2/3 of this song and says: "listen carefully, take off your headphones and turn on your soundsystem speakers, let yourself drown in this music". I was curious and did what he asked. It was so awe inspiring, i didnt even let the music end and i was listening to it again (part 1). It was as if i couldnt believe my ears. What type of person could sing that the way that guy did? The images cast in my mind, the feelings overflowed my heart. When i finnaly let the music go ahead to part 2/3 I shivered from head to toe... The moment the singer "sang" I Love You Jesus Christ... it was just too much. That was not singing, it was something transcendentally different. I broke down in tears, the emotion was too strong, i was gasping, crying, laughing, claping... I cant compare the experience to anything i've ever felt. My spirit swelled in my chest more and more at each syllable. From that moment on, I'm changed. I've grown. All thanks to Mr. Mangum. |

i luv this song and i dance wildly to it every day after school while im taking a shower. thats what it means to me although i know its silly and your ideas are much more intelectual (i read all except for that really big one just above my coment) still to me it has diferent meanings acording to how my day at school went, a few phrases fitting in while most dont. but dancing myself clean, doing my own show for myself alone, thats what this song tells me, as if while i dance i cleanse my mind, while the water washes my body too. silly i know :3 |

i just listened to this song for the 1st time a few minutes ago while watching a youtube video of it with a so very cute cute cute boy in it *--* i fell in luv with boy and music just to find out this song is very old (like 1980ish) and that boy is probably a grown up man now while im still 14 wish i could just fall in luv with justin bieber like everyone else T-T |
