I think, just by looking at the lyrics it's about someone who's lost their home recently. Whether it be from being kick out or loosing it to a foreclosure. And now they're trying to get back on their feet. I don't like how the new song sounds but I do like what the lyrics say Keep your hopes up high and your head down low |

I really don't like the new sound of A Day To Remember. They never used to be played on the radio, and it was nice. Because I was listening to something that wasn't crazed over 14 year old girls. I'm used to A Plot To Bomb The Panhandle and all their older songs. Not this radio-friendly stuff. Back when I was younger I couldn't listen to anything that wasn't played on the radio. But nowadays it's the complete opposite. I guess you can call me a stubborn purist. But some parts of the song are alright. It's not a complete fail, but when a band changes their sound drastically like this it's hard for me to gain back the high amount of respect I had once before. |

I totally agree, but maybe they wanted some contradictory at the end of the album or something like that? Because the last line of the song is: "What would it take for things to be quiet?" And then it rushes into the harsh vocals from Mike with Lord Xenu.. I kinda think they're trying to say something like no one knows what it would take to get complete silence. In anything.. Relationships, work, life and maybe even war.. Still a great song and so far, the only song with completely clean vocals done by them and by far the best. |

I do love Jeremy's voice throughout the entire album and the complete existence of the band However I really wish he would just tweak his vocals a little when he's doing the soft stuff like Louder Than Thunder. But at the same time, I think they did that on purpose. The aggressive approach of Jeremy's voice and the sensitivity of the music clashes, but in a good way. Like they're saying "Look at what Christ did for us." But not in a "in your face" way. Maybe they didn't want to irritate the non-believers. I am not religious at all and I can still respect this music for what it is. Art |

Yet again this band never ceases to amaze me. I'm not Christian at all and I LOVE this band!! To me the lyrics can even be seen in a non-religious way as well. "I'm no one's hero, so just forget my name. I abhor you, with every foolish thing that you say. None of it is worth the time: another meaningless war. You don't know what you need. We're all so back and forth, nothing is as it seems. You don't know what you need. We make the same mistakes, we've ruined everything. What is it this time? What must you call holy?" I see Mike saying that he isn't the world's hero. And he's sick of the crap that people/objects give him. Maybe it's suggesting that vanity is going to be the world's demise. Because we don't know what we need. We're back and forth and nothing's as it seems.. As humans we constantly make mistakes and we hardly ever learn from them. |

I mostly listen to the instruments of this song. Their guitar work is astounding. Kudos to Chris, Jeremy and Andy for working together and coming up with amazing harmonies that just flow through the song and the whole album as well Dan's drum beats is brutal. Enough said James sometimes seems like he has no place in the band but at the same time TDWP wouldn't have their unique sound if it wasn't for the elements he brings to the table. Mike's hard vocals are always mind-blowing. Gives me goosebumps every time I listen. All in all, my favorite band (: |
