If your freaking out about how he looks, your an idiot, do some research into Hasidic Judasim and you wil learn why he looks like he does, and I feel like its really cool. His life is his beliefs and he doesn't back down at all. All of his songs could be spoken as a sermon and totally work, it's truly amazing and beautiful. He is obviously very intelligent in his religion and very articulate. This song has a great message, talking about how God touched his life and he devoted every aspect of his life to his beliefs, then he goes on to really calling people out, those who say they are religious or have found God and put so much effort into the image of a religious person that they left no room for God and secretly wonder why God isn't in their life. It's hard hitting and really makes me look at my own beliefs, basically makes me look really hard in the mirror. All of his music touches me in different ways but I must say this is one of my personal favs. God bless. |
