| Poets Of The Fall – The Beautiful Ones Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Now....i'm not an expert at deciphering what people mean behind there songs by any means...because i can't read peoples minds on why they wrote it or what inspired them..but when i listen to this song and think of a meaning...it could also possibly be that a couple lost their daughter or child..and the man is speaking of his wife who is the one flying with the broken wing...with tears running down her face, the fact that shes been through the struggle of losing her child, yet she still smiles at her husband, though it's hard. Asking why we sacrifice the beautiful ones, breaking good peoples hearts of gold, who are happy and loving and perfect and love everybody. "Heroes of tales unsung untold" what i get out of this is that the child that is missing from their life was their hero who will never get to tell their story, no one will truly know what they could have done in life because the chance was taken away from them, and having the chance to love someone and have kids with them, all of that was taken away from them. Like i said, i'm far from calling myself any sort of an expert at pinpointing a song meaning because everyone gets different meanings from them, though i am happy to share my thoughts on it. | |
