| i think this is a reflection of the way some people just settle into a relationship. after a time, people get comfortable and they stop putting in effort or lose sight of why they're in a relationship in the first place. they argue and sometimes forget why they love the other person. Here, he takes a step back and says that he "knows more of the stars and sea" than of whats in her head, "barely touching in our cold bed" but that she is "the only thing that makes sense" and that they need "to feel breathless with love". its a very touching song that serves as a reminder: don't forget about who you love and why you love them. all of the arguments and fights aren't worth it when you already have the person you love. this is such a great song. | |
