| Actually grunger made an intresting point bout unplugged in NY.i'm THAT in2 nirvan so i don't know which songs r from which album.but intresting is,when he strarts playin about a girl,the crowd goes "Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh",when he plays this song right here the crowd says "yeeeah",& when they play all apologies which is very emotional judgin from kurt's vocals,the crowds like"...".nothing!!!!!NOTHING!!!!yup.those r the fans who would rather listen 2 energic & aggressive songs & deny emotion,that may be the cause of his death,seeing the world as i'd call it "a graveyard of emotion". | |

Hmm,just like most of their lyrics,it's vague,in a way that it can be implied on any situation,in this case,in which,u hit the bottom.i 1st thought addiction's the meaning,but readin some of the opinions above,made me think "no,not just addiction". u can pretty much say:Something 4 everyone!!!!!! very nice.in this album,Maynards screams are very emotinal,we don't see that much in 10,000 days... the rollins part was nice 2.i'd love 2 cover this song. |

check this out: in another website I saw sb talking about a code that is nearly like a language,& it's alphabets r called "keys"!!!!!wait a min!"Lost Keys"!!!!!!!! there u go!+ as many of u said the Rosetta stone is a stone with codes on it!so=the lost keys r on the Rosetta stone!! now has anybody seen the series "chuck"?the guy was a CIA database,now this guy here (like chuck)is "Rosetta stoned"!meaning that "lost keys' where coded in him(by aliens),there 4 he is now like the Rosetta stone in the museum u guys talked about!& jus like "chuck' he can't remember the codes whenever he wants!so he think the in4mation 's lost 4ever & keeps thinkin that he "shit the bed"(accordin 2 sb on this site,means screwing up)I also think the hospital is a nut house,& the dr "straps him 2 his bed,with his feet cold & eyes red",by the E.T experience the character has gone paranoid!& I think part of the lyrics r what the character is sayin(what he can say)& some parts r his thoughts.a really cool story with the coolest music by tool,ever!however there are still some parts I still don't get:the references of dmt & lsd (blame Hoffman)...are the hospital/nut house guys thinkin he's high?don't think so:"no obvious physical trauma" while they should notice if the guy is high or not...so I don't know bout that part...irrelevant meaning phrases?on the title?no... if u read this all,thanks,cause this is so long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
