i heard this song is about being a drug user. so i suppose its being taken advantage of for drugs, to support her habit somehow. refer to the first half of the chorus to see what i'm trying to get at..? and the word "fuck" is actually a rather versatile word, doesn't necessarily always have to mean "sex". in this song it could be as in "fuck you around//mess you up//use and abuse" etc etc. i'm terrible at explaining things, but i hope i made atleast a slight amount of sense to... anyone. |

this song is about anorexia, as everybody knows. and ana IS a term used for anorexia, not a girl who has it. it is about daniel suffering from anorexia and how its affected his life and perception. "please die ana, for aslong as you're here we're not." - wants anorexia to leave him because its changed who he is. "i need you now somehow... on my knees for you... what i need from you..." - longing to be thin. what he wants to achieve from this. "imagine pageant, in my head the flesh seems thicker." - life is just about looking the best, the thinnest. in his own mind he feels fat even though he's not. "you're my obsession, a love you to the bones, and ana wrecks your life, like an anorexia life." - ana is now his life. loves to be just bones. ana is killing him because ana is anorexia... |
