From a Devolution magazine article: " Wednesday was clearly profoundly affected by the horrific events that occured in Japan back in March of 2011 and the emotion in his voice is tangible as on the life changing experiences he faced. 'We were 200 miles away from the centre, but we still had a 9.5 earthquake!' he explains. 'When the earth is shaking for, like, seven minutes and you can't even stand up straight it's insane! You're in a foreign country and you're by yourself and you're going Oh my god, I'm gonna die here and I'm not going to get to say goodbye to anyone. That's what the song We All Die is about. That song in particular is about my experience in Japan, it's kind of like a goodbye note to my daughter as morbid as that sounds' " |

This was written after he experienced the earthquake in Japan as a sort of "goodbye note" to his daughter. |
