I like your interpretation, but he should sing to her when she's there; it would mean so much more. Twinkle Twinkle is the only song that would calm one of my crying babies; I used to sing it (off key) many times over until s/he would fall asleep. |

Good song. Simple lyrics. Nothing compares to Candyman, though. Not many people her age could pull off the big band sound and give it the energy it requires. She's impressed me since that time. Such a talented young woman. |

For gawd's sake, "John", a book? Really necessary? They lyrics are quite simple. As for Jewel, she has always impressed me. She came onto the music scene with a strong sense of who she was and who she wanted to be. Her style was unique. Good song....perhaps worthy of a book, but really now;) |

NO NO NO, it's NOT a sweet remake. This song is Gloria's anthem and it should NEVER have been touched. It's a part of history! Gloria's tune came at a time when feminism was in its infancy. Songs like this one marked the decade of change and enlightenment. You should never mess with mother nature, as the saying goes. Shame on Cake! |

Haven't listened to Whitney in years. She's so beautiful and gifted with a gorgeous voice. And how musically-talented her family is! I disagree with your interpretation. Don't the lyrics state that she's moving on and not looking back? With regard to her personal life, I wish she had left her husband long before she did; she fell so far down in so many ways. |
