My boyfriend of a year just broke up with me, because of anxiety issues. I'd worry sometimes, and he didn't understand. A week ago, I had a conversation with him about my anxiety, and he said he would be there with me even when I "wasn't myself". This song makes me think of everything I said to him, and how I always hoped that he would be with me even when things were rough. Anxiety, depression, and other mental disorders are incredibly hard to understand, and it takes a strong person to stick it out with the one that they love through it. |
