| To me the song sounds like it is about a girl that the singer is fond of, she's well liked by everyone. She carries around the guilt and such things from the past, even though she doesn't need to. And she wants to get away from all of her problems, but she continues to stay in place. At first, not thinking the lyrics through, I thought possibly Guinevere was a friend of hers who had done away with herself, 'always looking to find something quicker than heaven to make the damage of her days disappear, just like Guinevere,' sounds quite like she is contemplating suicide. I may be completely wrong (!!!), but that's what the lyrics sounds like to me. | |
