I am very glad that you changed all the lyrics, Im sure that it was probably annoying and a hassle but it was totally worth it and I thank you very much. I really admire this band and I didn’t want people learning the lyrics wrong like I had before. Eyeshine doesn’t deserve to have people start singing lyrics that are incorrect. As for your apology, I appreciate that you took the time to say it, but I still don’t understand why you would post lyrics in the first place when you yourself were unsure if they were correct (as you stated in your last response, since you obviously wouldn’t have tried to find the lyrics if you actually knew what they were). And it was consciously done, not mistakenly. People look to these websites to find clarity with songs that are difficult to understand, and trust that they are correct. If you don’t know the lyrics, don’t post them. I don’t give two shakes of a boggarts tail if you thought your lyrics were right, because they weren’t. So please don’t ever do that again. Just keep your interpretation to yourself like everyone else does. Im glad that you did change the lyrics in the end when your so busy, but I find it odd that you had the time to put up the wrong ones in the first place. And I don’t even know what 4chan is. I don’t like getting profiles and all this crap, and normally I never would but I guess the need to let you know how wrong the lyrics were overcame my dislike, so here I am. Next time get your facts straight the first time in order to prevent nosy people like me from spamming up this website. It’s an inconvenience for both of us and distracts others from what they should be focusing on, which is Eyeshine’s awesome music... cuz Eyeshine rules. ~smashingxURxface |

Gia, I see where I was being ridiculous and over-reactive, but honestly, I think TwiligtPaladin was being arrogant and uncaring about whether he got the lyrics right or wrong. I had been searching for the real lyrics, and found these with the belief that they were correct, so finding out they weren’t ticked me off. TwilightPaladin’s apology is like those ones you get from noisy neighbors who party all night and promise not to play music at 2 o’clock in the morning anymore. It means nothing. In this song particularly, the lyrics aren’t off too much (I have posted the real lyrcis from the Red Stripes White Light CD cover below) but in â€�Let It Outâ€� there is a big error and lots of little ones. I think that’s great that you stand up for what you believe in. I WAS being very rude and you called me out on it, so I admit that and I apologize to TwilightPaladin for that. But I would not have escalated to such stupidity if TwilightPaladin had been sincere and not simply brushed it off by ‘letting his interpretation be the lyrics themselves’. If he really did appreciate this music, then he would have tried to find the true lyrics in the first place.
