| Loreena McKennitt – Caravanserai Lyrics | 14 years ago |

Such a gorgeous song. I think this song can take on two meanings. The first would be that a person is reflecting, telling the story of when they once traveled upon a caravanserai upon the "desert's cry". A very grandiose story, as if you're reading a storybook, like Loreena so often does. The second meaning is that a person is reflecting on their life, which resembles a person living the life of their journey as if they were trying to reach a caravanserai. Either way, this song is beautiful and gives you memories almost as if you lived on the silk road. :-) |

| Enigma – Invisible Love Lyrics | 14 years ago |

Straightforward song. But like all of Enigma's incredible, ingenious creations, you have to listen to all of the track, the beats, the rhythms, the way the song synchronizes with the lyrics, the tone... In order to truly get it. I listen to this song, and it's as if he's speaking to something within him, a spirit that he cannot remember, in order to be rescued from Earth. He's probably chanting to his soul mate that passed away, or someone dear to him that he cannot reach through prayer, through thought no matter how hard he tries. And in turn, he's even more desperate. He's so lovesick and misses this individual dearly that he simply wants to be whisked away into the eternal realm where they now reside. |

| Enigma – Return To Innocence Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I think that this song is speaking to vast amounts of people instead of just reflecting on one individual. In a sense, this song is very straightforward. The song can pretty much reflect the Universe speaking to all of us, gently nudging us that our ways are starting to take the wrong track, and how we must return back into our inner child, and find the light within us all. That in turn, will be the cure of the many problems of the world, and how in order to change the world you must first change yourself. To not get caught up in superficial matters, in the surface, and to look deeper than what we are used to... And to not fear. | |
| Enigma – Beyond The Invisible Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
To me, whenever I listen to it, feel as if this song is deeply touching on the afterlife and going back into your original state of being. Reaching nirvana, heaven, the door in between, whatever you may call it. The title 'Beyond the Invisible' reaffirms this, as well as the lyrics, "It is real and not a dream.. It is time to break the chains of life". If you listen closely to the song, they begin to chant in latin, a characteristic of Enigma's songs, once more touching on the mystical, the afterlife. Although the latin translation seems to be mocking Christian beliefs, if you also look at the music video, you then think that what you originally thought the song to be, isn't what it was. In the end, the song is touching on the afterlife and how you might in fact be tired of this world, contemplating suicide, wishing to go back to when you were young, live a life without worries, and take the easy way out into darkness... But at the end, it is up to you to decide if you want to choose the light or the dark. Powerful, powerful song. Enigma/Michael Cretu is a genius. |

| Enigma – Sitting On The Moon Lyrics | 14 years ago |

This song is very, very touching. I would say that this song is dealing with your soul being from another planet, and dying or wandering in cosmic space, landing upon the moon, trying to find your own soulmate on Earth. And at times, it seems that it's speaking to those who feel alienated, as if reassuring that our soul family members up in the stars are waiting for us as well... |
