For me, this song is about the existential lonelyness within each of us. When we are hurt, we are in pain, or even dying ... no-one can really help. Some people want to , but they can't, how good / bad they are trying. Untill we are tired of good intentions and just want to be left alone. ( To be left alone, in a trance, with the basses of 'wendy time' on the background). Been there, that's why I adore the song. The demo-version revaels its true spirit, which completely got lost in the studio version. |
