| I think it is just as much (if not more) about the glorification and sacralisation of celebrity. Society tends to worship celebrities nowadays and the song ironically worships the celebrities too as though they were the Christian God, even directly quoting the Lord's Prayer - a statement that we are replacing our spirituality with capitalism and shallow fandoms. | |
