To me it is simply an anthem of the non-believer. Most GOOD lyrics are written in an ambiguous style, either by design or chance, thus allowing the listener to interpret them in the context of their OWN circumstances and worldview. It's also kind of the nature of good poetry. (Lamb Of God is my favorite metal band! WAY better than Metallica IMO. They're like the "Black Sabbath" of the 90's!) |

Objectively they mean whatever the author meant them to mean. Subjectively they are ambiguous enough to have different meanings for different people. |

These Lyrics are purposely written to be fairly ambiguous like a lot of lyrics, so that one can apply them to their own personal life. I personally think this song is about extreme cocaine addiction and the corrupted system that makes them available and illegal at the same time! Cut that up with your razor and snort it!! |
