So I've never been very good at this, but this is what I think the song means. It almost seems like she is talking about having writer's block. The chorus seems like she says she misses her keyboard. And the whole song just seems like she is frustrated with something within her. "My material heart How it keeps us apart" Almost seems like she is saying it is her own shallowness that keeps her from writing. So time passes and she wants to write but has nothing to write. |
