Always thought it was "a bullet surprise for the first of you who talks to the alien Christ". Like, everyone's sensationalizing this thing that's happened, but anyone who actually takes it seriously or claims to have talked to the alien is ostracized (or killed). |

In Houston a couple of weeks ago, JD opened the song with:
"Like so many good songs, this takes place in Cambodia in 1979."
I have no idea what (if anything) that means in relation to the song itself but it's kind of funny. |

Just saying? This is all KINDS of fun to hear at a concert in a crowded general-admission venue. Two hundred people yelling "I HOPE YOU DIE, I HOPE WE BOTH DIE" is amazing. Especially when, a few minutes later, the same people are singing "I am gonna make it through this year if it kills me!" |
