To me this song is about a girl with issues who finds troubled men who can't grow up or have put on a wall so they can be safe from all the pain around them. Now that he knows he's supposed to grow, that he's "found a reason" he's trying to do it, she encourages him and at the same time she sabotages him so she can take care of him forever.
