The song is about being in love with a woman for who she is, and accepting her for who she is both body and mind. As far as the singer is concernd, the woman in question is a 10/10, despite being a mere mortal and not a super model. |

Just half a minute in and I feel the intelligence is being sucked out of my brain. The Auto tune voice is annoying, and the beat is generic track 123.
Yeah, she's jumped the shark. |

After listening to this song dozens of times and looking at the lyrics, I think it's saying we need to live better then we are.
At any given time, there is so much garbage going on in our world and our lives and only a handful of people willing to say anything or do anything about it. Moments such as the civil rights movements in the US during the 60's.
We can choose to stay in our boundaries or we can break free. |

I always took the song as never being able to live up to another person's standards (such as a child or teen with an overbearing parent), and they are realizing that person can't even live up to their own high standards. |

I think the interpretation could go either way from Finding God or Finding Yourself. |

I love this song as well.
Most of it is self explanatory, it's man who rides rodeo but is well passed his prime and is all but forgotten.
It also makes a subtle drug reference with the white lines getting longer in the chorus. At one end it could been the lines in the road, on the other it probably means he is drowning his sorrow in cocaine. |
