| Oliver Stone was a director/screenwriter of Jewish descent back in the late 80's/early 90's. Audrey Hepburn was a well-known actor (though not starring in any of his films). I think that what max is saying is he wants her (I would believe he means Sherri, his wife) to be some sort of star in the movie he is directing that is his life because he finds her incredible. | I think that's just Max saying "greasy" in an odd way, how he does with some words when he articulates them. I only say this because "greazy" isn't a word, not one I know of that exists beyond urbandictionary. However, you might be right, we'll have to wait for the lyrics book in the album when we finally get to purchase it, in all of it's glory. Haha. | |

I do understand it's a bit hard to understand Max's lyrical "jew"-jitsu, but I believe there are a few things you may have misheard, or possibly I am. | I honestly think that this song is about Sherri DuPree-Bemis and how he's just so surprised he was able to get her, and how whenever he saw her she always looked good to him and he would do anything for her, and how no matter what she does he loves her. It's a beautiful song. I think that when Max went from singing about the girls he had problems with to this woman he now loves and is married to is such a bedazzling evolution of his music. I honestly don't think this album could be any better, it's definitely different, however it's just everything Say Anything has ever been rolled in to this incredible ball of pure and raw emotion, I can't wait for it to be released to actually purchase the CD. | |
