I don't mean to 'turn the song around', or to aim this at all guys (since not all guys are the same!), but you know when you completely trust someone, had great laughs with them, every kind word they said; they all go out the window. And then they ask for you back, and keep on saying sorry. Not happening again, 'cause I'm afraid I'll get hurt again. I know this song is about girls/chicks, but for me, it's about a guy, and taking out the female-related lyrics, it it sounds more clear. Like: 'See, I don't know why I liked you so much I gave you all of my trust I told you I loved you, now that's all down the drain You put me through pain, I wanna let you know how I feel Fuck what I said, it don't mean shit now Fuck the presents, might as well throw em out Fuck all those kisses, they didn't mean jack Now ya askin for me back Ya just another act, look elsewhere Cuz ya done with me' I hate Frankee's version. I do wonder why all the guys' songs singing about girls makes much more sense! |
