| Fountains of Wayne – Hackensack Lyrics | 10 years ago |

This song isn't about anyone in particular, it's about not being able to let something or someone go. Therefore, I really don't agree with people like Katy Perry who say this is a love song, and sing it like it's a serenade or something. The song should be sang quitly and should give the listener a nostaligic feeling, like Fountains of Wayne performs it. I really love this song. It's so sad once you understand what it is really about. |

| Greg Laswell – Come Back Down (feat. Sara Bareilles) Lyrics | 13 years ago |

The song is definitely about getting over something, but I don't think it's about getting over someone that died. I mean, it would be kind of a mean song if it was. I think it's basically about getting over an ex and having to move on. The song is clearly directed to someone who is wallowing in his own sadness, saying "get over it now, there are other people". |

| Wolf Parade – What Did My Lover Say? (It Always Had to Go This Way) Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
I think this song is about not having any regrets about things you did or had (a relationship) in your past and just letting things happen because they have to happen. He seems to be talking about things that happened in his past, but having no regrets about them yet he is wondering what will happen in the future. I also think this song has a positive message, saying "do not care what others think about you, nobody knows you and nobody gives a damn" |

| Bloodhound Gang – Farting With A Walkman On Lyrics | 13 years ago |

It's about someone who sings the same song every time he wants to cover up his farts. Because of the fact that people start recognizing the fart song, they know that the person is farting. My God, I just cracked the Da Vinci-code. |

| When he says "I've been trying" he means "I've been trying to get over you". | |
