| I interpret this song as feeling worthless in this modern world. Fighting, sex, alcohol, drugs, whatever is it. Since Title Fight is an edge band and everyone seems to be very clean, friendly, and well put together. In their society or community its probably about all the stuff they despise and sitting in their room all night feeling lonely and worthless (bag of bones), so hearing and seeing a train go by reminds them it could get worse i guess? or that there is other people out there not living up to that style, whether it be boring or not. | |

This song makes me think of the typically relationship, the guy is always wrong and the girl is always right. This interest of his was never meant to be much, due to the fact he sees all the differences, but she got to him. and after all his doing (apologizing and blah blah for nothing) she left him and stabbed him in the back. He is just shocked and doesnt understand how a person could be so cruel, so he wants to cut her open to see inside. While all of this emotion runs through him he also tries to look at the other side, she was cruel and not right so he is trying to not let himself care about it. I put this in terms of a relationship between boy and girl because im going through a very similar thing with what i just said. |

This song speaks for itself really but I am currently going through a similar phase, so I feel I could lay my interpretation of his attitude for this song. Its really true what they say about college, if youre an outgoing person who wants to party you WILL party. and it will fuck you up. I've always stayed stray of that stuff, but 99% of my friends didn't and over half of them already dropped out of college and the other half got shit for grades cause of the hang overs and late parties and fraternity events and what not. I think he sees this girl (that he likes) and knows she is that type, as if he cant really trust her and hes embracing himself for the pain of losing her and watching her potentially ruin her life. I also look at when he said "I came here against my will" as he didn't ever want that but she doesnt care and is doing what she wants against him. So he arrived at this situation against his will. I find alot of meaning in this song personally, such a great writer. |

its really hard to determine the actual story behind this song. its pretty clear that its tryin to get a person to be back to who they were, from what they became do you remember your lucky number? i said your name 27 times, would that bring you back to life. tryin to get things back to how they were, bringing them back.(the past) but the intro sounds like maybe they got hurt really bad and there dad was helping them or something? idunno it would be cool to hear others opinions on this song cause its really interesting |
