I heard this song more than a year ago and though I have other favourites, this one probably tops the list. The song tells the story of someone who has been loving and longing for a person for a long time. He talks about how the other person refues to notice him or his feelings (deliberately or otherwise) and how it's breaking his heart. He says life doesn't always answer one's questions and he is not sure if he would ever be able to win the other person's love and all he can do is to wait and hope that his dream comes true some day. He says the other person is strange and beautiful to him because he hasn't been given the change to be a part of his/her life and he wishes he could put a spell on him/her so that when the other person woke up next day, he/she would love and want him just like he loves and wants him/her. Very haunting, beautiful and sad. |
