| I think this song is not just about feeling good through drugs or sex and wanting those highs to stay. Its more about depression and feeling good in general. When your depressed it is hard to have good feelings at all and when you do they are fleeting. The line that says "When I know the other one just a little to well" he is talking about, he knows sadness to well, opposite of good feelings. He wants the little amount of good feeling that he has recently had through sex or (hell he could be talking about staying up masturbating all night "vague sketch of a fantasy" "slippin and slidin") to stay with him but now he has to find a bed that can take back the weight of depression. | |
