For me, this is about wanting everything to be OK again and not giving up on someone. Learning to trust again, but taking the time together (lie down) to put the past in the past and working together to build a better, happy future (when the birds will sing again). "Come, show what it is to be warm: Be my shelter and i'll be your storm." - you have to love with all your heart even against the storm of someone's hurt one. "We'll show the fire how to burn" - fire destroys everything... but not this love. "I don't know, i don't know where you came from," - like an angel, so pure and committed to healing the wounds. "I don't know, I don't know where the rain's gone" - the tears are slowly fading. |
