i think this song is about aliens because of the line fire of an unknown origin took my baby away (which is his girl friend or something)and the fire of an unknown origin is probally a UFO with some weird fire at the bottom to kkep it up or sumtin any ways that jusy my opinion try not to rat me out I`m only 10 |

heres my opinion on the whole album wish you were here... shine on you crazy diamond 1st half, Roger and all them tell him to shine on (snap out of it) welcome to the machine, syd go`s to the insane asylum have a cigar The Line ya gonna fly high ya never gonna die is an if, if he snaps out of it and/or shine on wish you were here, its to late he`s already at the insane asylum and all hopes LOST shine on you crazy diamond second half, is (in my opinion) never give up like Roger Waters couldnt stand the fact that syd was gone so he made an album bout it anyways dont rat me out if my idea sucks because I`m just a kid sooooo ya |
