All I can say is.......WOW!! This song defines the distance between a couple and the unconditional love that can keep them together. "Love" believes in "Hate" even through his doubts, insecurities and destructive behaviors. She waits patiently for him to come around, for him to see. In the end "Love" wins because she never gives up. I can relate to this right now. It has been a long year with my bf but he is finally coming around. I am glad that I didn't give up on him. :) |

| Chronnick- sounds like this song was written for you. So, you told this "girl" it was just sex but then she was suddenly delusional?? Did you meet her in a bar and it was a one night stand thing or did you build her up to the point that she really thought you cared about her?? Somehow I get the impression from your post that this was not just some random encounter for you. That is the exact type of game playing that Adele is describing with her lyrics. You mention how this girl told everyone she had gotten pregnant/miscarried. Did you even take the time to verify if that was true or not?? Most likely not. If you had found out she was telling you the truth you might have had to empathize with her situation. Heaven forbid you should care!! You sound like just another jerk who plays on people's emotions to get what they want/need. I feel sorry for any girlfriend you might ever have. | |
