She wrote this song when she was feeling lonley as she had been in LA for 3 months alone song writing. This song was written on the last session and it was inspired by her waking up in the night and just looking at herself and thinking: "Whats up babe, why are you doing this to yourself, why are you so obsessed with what you look like. I went to the studio, wrote the song and i cried for most of the day". She started singing 'dont lose who you are in the blur of the stars'. That lien of the song means most to her and as soon as she got home from LA she got it tattooed on her hip, unfortunatly she was jet lagged, and wrote Dont loose rather than lose. She didnt even notice untill 4 dasy later when her mum told her.
Each time she sings this song she has to hold back the tears.
Personally it is my favourite song. |

She didn't want this song to be made into something it wasn't. It is a very straight to the point honest song.
It is about she basically told someone, someone elses' secret and it got back to that person. She said "Everyone has someone they trust, then that person has someone they trust, and it goes on and on" and thats what the song is about :) |

She wrote Big White Room when she was 17 and it is about an experience from when she was 10 and in hospital. She has an irregular heartbeat and got admitted into hospital because of it. She woke up in the night and saw the boy opposite her praying not to die and the next morning unfortunatly he had, she asked her mum why he died as he asked to be saved. She wanted to write asong about the experience but didnt want it to be tacky so she waited until she was 17. It is the first song she ever wrote. |

This song isnt meant to show off her singing ability. She wrote it to get out there, she wanted it to be noticed and get comments, good or bad it was still getting her out there. She wrote the song for Rihanna but kept it for herself as she liked it. Jessie describes the song as "fun and almost is a parody of herself" |
