Aqua has indeed re-formed and are touring. In 2011 they released their third studio album Megalomania. this was really only released in Scandinavia.
All three albums: Aquarium, Aquarius and Megalomania were released without parental advisory warnings... yet they have some of the most sexually hardcore lyrics... which all the kids really enjoyed (not being aware of the true meanings). Highly Underrated group and not just a Barbie band! |

This is a re-write of a song Aqua wrote for the third album back in 2001 (not released), the title was Shakin Stevens Is A Superstar, this has been a fan favourite at concerts and was put on their album Megalomania. As not everyone knows/will remember Shakin Stevens so was re-written to what you see above of which is pretty clear as to what it is about. |

This song is only using Barbie and Ken as a social comment. It is about foreplay and playing with sex toys, in the first verse it was meant to say "I'm a blonde bimbo girl in a fantasy world, dress me up make it tight I'm your dolly tonight" Tonight was removed to make the listener make their own opinion as to what is going on/song about.
The sex takes place on Ah Ah Ah Yeah, Come on Barbie Lets Go Party and the orgasm is Ohh Ohh. Life in Plastic Its Fantastic is referring to sex toys.

This song is actually about drug addiction. Replace the word Aquarius with Cocaine, then in the chorus Cocained. It was written and draws from a personal experience of an Aqua member. Sorry to have ruined what you thought was a lovely song! |
