I really like this song, it's really nice to hear a song like this that doesn't need to have a huge build up or go for five minutes, it's just calm and gets the point across. I feel like it may be about death, and not being afraid of it. "If morning never comes to be, be still, be still, be still" First heard this on The Vampire Diaries during a death scene, that may contribute to my feeling towards it. |

I see this as a bit of a love song, and a death song. Love= Because I first heard it during a lovely scene on The Vampire Diaries, and it seemed really romantic. "Found the place to rest my head, never let me go, never let me go.' Death= The lyrics: "It's peaceful in the deep, cause either way you cannot breathe, no need to pray, no need to speak." I think it depends on the mood you were in when you heard it :) |

In the version I have on my iPod, it actually has both lyrics. Ashamed and proud of, The same damn problem, Together all the while But there may be another version without 'the same damn problem,' because my sheet music for the song is missing that line. |

Mmm I'd hardly say these lyrics are genius, as crombiegirl00 suggested. Listen to Muse and Coldplay for that category. I think, just simply enough, that the song is about being proud of who you are. |
