I listened to this song and thought of it as someone in a relationship that isn't going very well. The person who their with isn't happy, and they know it: "I make you miserable you stick with me although You know I'm going to ruin your life" I look at this song as him looking at the good (God) and the bad (Satan) in the relationship and hoping for a "miracle." "Well I look up to God and I see trouble 'cause this ain't a miracle I just want to take my chance to live through a miracle" This line makes me think that he wants it work. He sees the good, but there's still a lot of bad, but he wants to take the chance that it's good overall. Just my thoughts. |
