The song was literally meant to be bad. As stated by Beck in LA Times, they made the song to be complete noise. I'm sure the song being about garbage is supposed to signify that as well. As stated, the originals of the song were even more noisier and more obnoxious than the performed version in the movie. |

I've never been diagnosed professionally, but I've always felt like I was two or more different people. I've never felt like I only had one personality. Even though I know that the song is inspired from Dawn of the Dead and whatnot, when I hear this song, all that I can picture is me arguing with myself, holding a gun to my own head, trying to decide if it would even matter to anyone, knowing that whether I pull the trigger or not I'm already dead, and telling myself that I love myself are empty words. |
