To me this speaks to my heart about Feeling. I sometimes feel as if I'm abandoned by God and that I can't feel His love for me. But the truth in Scripture is that He does love me and that I cannot escape my salvation or Christ's love (Romans 8:38-39 NLT) Everything is really good and under control even though my feelings may speak otherwise |

I think this song is about God and not about a romantic lover. man doesn't have the power to be a consuming fire. Also doesn't have the ability to light up the night with stars. The whispers in the dark part would make u think that its about a lover but I think the whispers in the dark is the person praying to God laying in their bed when they are alone. Just my interpretation. Peace |
