| Megadeth – Holy Wars... The Punishment Due Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
"Wage the war on organized crime Sneak attacks, repel down the rocks Behind the lines Some people risk to employ me Some people live to destroy me Either way they die" This part sounds like it's being delivered by War, like some sort of smug, cigar-chomping incarnation of organized violence, egging people on and declaring himself immortal. |

| Clutch – Spacegrass Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| A song about getting high and/or traveling the cosmos to see the sights. Classic Clutch! | |
| Clutch – Escape From The Prison Planet Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| The first verse is just generally funny and dry, complaining about kids and their wild parties. From there, it goes into the day in the life of a conspiracy theorist, similar to Burning Beard and Animal Farm. | |
| Clutch – Hoodoo Operator Lyrics | 14 years ago |

Seems like a pretty straightforward interpretation of selling your soul to the devil. I absolutely love the musical texture an imagery of the song, though. In keeping with Clutch's tradition of mixing the mundane and fantastical, Cape Kid's interpretation could actually be correct at the same time - The Devil may indeed be a ski-lift operator in Oregon. |
